Yesterday I spoke with a very nice man. He is a veteran and a minister in our local area and is helping his daughter launch her business; Purest Heart Health & Wellness. She is a registered nurse and they want their brand to represent caring for those in need. 💞
He reached out to me because they always try to choose local businesses first, I'm the same way! What better way to help small businesses if not by keeping the economy within the local community!
I do custom design, so my direction was as follows.:
Must have a purple heart 💜.
Two caring/gentle hands.
Something in the middle of the heart, not sure what.
Wants it to be elegant and fancy but not gaudy.
Keep in mind these are just mock ups, I'm not goes yet. However I did my best, provided them with these 2 designs, and gave them these tips when thinking about a logo for a business:
A logo should always be able to translate and convey information in black and white sufficiently and will be the least investment for any marketing materials printed in the future.
Flat color logos of 3 colors or less will be less of an investment for any marketing materials printed in the future, but now than black and white.
Complex color logos of 3+ colors (this includes anything gradient) will be more of an investment for any marketing materials printed in the future.
What do you think? Which one would you choose?
I like the purple heart ones with the hands and the cross, but I'm a bit biased cause I like simple (but not over simplified) designs... and purple is my favorite color.
